Wishing for Toxic-Free Disney

Did you know that many of the Disney branded gear your child may use could be made with toxic chemicals? From lunch boxes, school supplies, backpacks, and boots-- these products that have characters many of our kids love can be loaded with unsafe amounts of vinyl (aka, the poison plastic) which can carry lead, phthalates, DEHP, and other toxins. 

The lovely Lori of Groovy Green Livin knows this. That is why she started a petition to Disney to get the chemicals out of their products for children. Please sign it if you haven't already!

And let's keep the pressure on Disney to act to protect our kids. Send them a message this Valentine's Day.

• Print your favorite image. Feel free to make your own, or decorate it with your favorite Valentines Day flare. Be creative and have fun!
• Take a picture of you, your family, your pet, with the sign using your camera or phone.
• Email us your photo to disneyvalentine@chej.org and we’ll send it on to Disney.
