Until now! I don't have to face these dilemas in big box stores anymore.
MightyNest has launched a kitchenware collection. It is loaded with safer items free of concerning chemicals and materials such as Teflon, BPA, lead, aluminum, and melamine. You'll find glass bakeware, ceramic cookware, stainless steel cooking essentials, glass dishware, canning jars and more.
To celebrate, I've teamed with MightyNest for a giveaway. It's been a long time since I've done one of these! I am a big fan of popcorn. To avoid the chemicals (and the waste) in popcorn bags, I stand at the stove and cook popcorn in a pot. I've often ended up with burnt popcorn, and in one case, a melted fleece jacket. Thankfully, MightyNest now carries a microwave Glass Popcorn Popper. According to MightyNest:
