I'm just back from a trip to the beach with my two girls-- and on a short walk one evening on the beach I picked up no less than 5 balloons littering the shore. It was only about a half mile, and there were sure to be more. So much for balloons not having an impact (see the comments on the Balloons are Evil! post).
