The Seventh Generation Seven Day Challenge starts July 1!
· Seventh Generation is inviting people to take a seven day laundry challenge where they will pledge to use Seventh Generation liquid laundry detergent, wash their clothes in cold water and line dry their clothing on a clothesline or drying rack for seven days
· The challenge will kick off on www.seventhgeneration.com/laundry-revolution on July 1 and will run for the month of July.
· You can calculate their savings from the challenge (energy and money saved) on the site, and think about what you can do with the extra cash.
· People who make the pledge will be entered into weekly drawings that will randomly award Seventh Generation product and other prizes (up to seven people per week will be named winners). Yahoo! Go Non-Toxic Kids readers!
If I can do it, as an excessive laundry procrastinator and piler, so can you. Especially if you have such quality help as my charming 3 and 5 year olds. Go on, take the challenge!

Great challenge! I have been washing in cold water for years and I do not have a dryer. I dry everything on a clothes drying rack. You can do it. It is really easy once you get a new drying routine.
