Oh, I just love feisty green mom bloggers. They are smart, funny, and dig deep into these issues. And they are seriously angry with the BPA lobbyist meeting I reported on yesterday.
Check out this post from The Smart Mama. She's got more details about the backdoor BPA Lobbyist meeting, including the companies that attended (which I wondered about in my last post).
They were:
Coca-Cola
Del-Monte
North American Metal Packaging Association
The American Grocers Association
Alcoa
Crown
The American Chemistry Council
Jennifer at the Smart Mama linked back to several posts from mom bloggers about this meeting, and we are all pondering our next action about this. What are your ideas, readers? How can we work together to say we won't be scared into believing BPA packaging is the only way to secure a safe food supply? How can we convince them that a pregnant women, no matter how earnest looking, will not convince us to forget the myraid health problems associated with BPA?

Great idea - let's hear from you. How can we challenge the BPA canned good industry?
Oh, I'm thinking! Got some ideas cooking. I'll be in touch (or post soon). Thanks for commenting!
Spreading the word about what they are doing is the best tactic to get them to stop. The more people know, the more nervous they will get that it will start to impact their bottom line.
