Oh, readers have I a treat for you. I've got a serious set of Green Mama sweetness to give away: a huge variety of Kiss My Face products for you to enjoy.
Kiss My Face uses ingredients from renewable resources, recycled packing, and is resourceful (they print product information on the inside of the box, instead of inserting additional paper).
These products contain NO: parabens, phthalates, SLS, synthetic colors or fragrances, animal testing or animal ingredients.
I've received a whole facial care line for one lucky winner to win. This is a serious amount of beauty products. Here is a list of what is included in the facial care line:
*Creamy Face Cleanser
*Exfoliating Face Wash
*Facial Cleansing Bar
*Antioxidant Toner
*Ester C Serum
*Ultra Hydrating Moisturizer
*Facial Creme and Sunscreen
*Brightening Day Creme
*Intensive Repair Night Creme
*Eye Repair Creme
*Jojoba and Mint Facial Scrub
*Deep Cleaning Mask
*Botanical Acne Gel

And I have one set of each of the colors of their Lip Glosses and Shimmers for a total of 12. These are great for throwing in your pocket or purse, and they are lighter then lipstick (minus the lead, too). I love these and use them in place of lipstick when I am heading off to work or going out (the latter is oh so rare).
All of this is from a new line of Kiss My Face products called Potent and Pure. I have seen that some older Kiss My Face products have contained some parabens and fragrance. Surprisingly, according to the Environmental Working Group, Kiss My Face did animal testing as well (this was very upsetting to me). I have found this infomation no where else, and the company insists they do no animal testing. The company is over 20 years old so I am assuming this testing was done in the past. But this line is new, with Kiss My Face stating that there is NO parabens or artificial fragrance and no animal testing. This hasn't been tested yet by the Environmental Working Group. But kudos to Kiss My Face for evolving to keep us all safer, and for their strong commitment to caring for the environment.
So, readers, tell me why you would like this whole beauty stash from Kiss My Face. I will pick the most compelling and entertaining comment to this post by April 30th. Good luck and have fun!

Oooh am I the first to comment??? I already have a button on my blog and it's listed in my blog list....does that count???
Hmmm why should I win...I'm not sure how witty I'll be since I just got off night shift but the lack of sleep, plus the coffee I'm going to need to drink to stay awake to watch my 1 yr old tear apart the house all day probably aren't contributing much to my beauty. Plus I'm a nurse so I basically wear pjama's to work so it's rare that I feel like more than a frumpy mom, so I guess I would love to pamper myself!
I find myself in the position of having to buy new make up since the old is almost gone. I've tried a few of the Kiss My Face products in the past. Currently being pregnant I find myself extremely cautious as to what I'm putting into as well as on my body. I love the thought of great make up without all the extras that typical products contain.
I love following the blog on Google Reader and glad that I came across it!
The ONLY makeup I ever wear is lipgloss/lipbalm. I have used the same facial cleanser since I was 16! I think I'm in a skin cleansing rut!! And I have a secret, but don't tell anyone. *whisper*My husband loves to have a spa night where we both put masks on each other, massage lotion into each other's hands and feet and then steam our faces. *snicker* It's he best fun!!
Hmm, why should I get it? I don't know if my reason is snazzy, well worded, or amusing. It's purely selfish and I will "blame" it on my kids. I have two children with special needs. Due to their needs we have had to "clean up" our home, this includes our personal products. It also means we have had to toss a ton of items because they just aren't safe for them, and honestly for us. Kiss My Face products have been some of the first things we bought. We have their sunscreen products. Needless to say, it's very expensive to live with two little boys that have so many medical needs, so many therapy bills, special items they need purchased, and now replacing every chemical in our home for them. It's an act of love. One we do willingly and without a second thought. But it's still hard. Add to that the fact that I am frump-de-jour. When you have two children who don't sleep, wake at the crack of dawn, and need things the second they get up until way into the night, self-care is last on your list. Yummy, and safe, products would be a blessing.
Oops, forgot to mention that I put a button on my site: http://lifewithelijah.blogspot.com/
And I subscribed via RSS on "My Aol".
Last fall my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Okay, so it already sounds like I'm going for the sympathy vote... I'm not. I swear! But after 6 months in the hospital, my hair is turning gray, my "laugh lines" mutating into crows feet, and my complexion can best be described as drab and scaly. I NEED a KISS MY FACE makeover. So I'm BEGGING. PLEADING. And, I admit it, going for the sympathy vote.
I joined your facebook group. I would love to add a button to my blog (www.unschoolingcancer.blogspot.com) but I'm not sure how. Thanks!
Ginger
I follow your blog using rss on googlereader.
Why would I like to win this? a few reasons... I am trying to dig out from the frumpyness that accompanies the blessed combination of--teaching undergrads a gen ed course in a subject that few of them are genuinely interested in, on-demand nursing a new baby and PT home schooling a precocious pre-K, job seeking, house cleaning, gardening, and a lifelong tendency to focus on whether it fits rather than whether it flatters. I like KMF products and would be thrilled to get this package. really. pick me. :o)
I'm no math whiz, but:
2 teens + 1 toddler = one desperately FRAZZLED momma!
Need I say more??
Thanks for the chance to win.

uh...cause it will make me look pretty?! duh! (and believe me I could use the help during these days of little "me" time!) ;}
Do you know what? I just figured out that we are mortal. I should be more specific: that I am mortal. Or to be even more specific: that I have wrinkles and am going to die someday. I'm not being tongue-in-cheek--I just had my third little one, and as my hair fell out for the third time, my body re-shaped itself, and my skin lost it's lustrous pregnancy glow, I looked in the mirror at my 35 year old face and thought, "Wow.... Wow.... Are those...wrinkles?" And then I heard a 1980's commercial in my head, where an aging lady is smearing Pond's cold cream on her hands (or something) and says, "Some people call these age spots, I call them ugly." So then I thought, "Holy crap! Is it time to start using product? Do I need to figure out what sunscreen and eye cream and toner is?" It's daunting. I am a total novice, and would love to try out this selection of natural products as I start my apprenticeship as a grown-up lady trying to age gracefully. Thanks!
Oh my goodness-- I have no idea how I will pick after all of these great entries! Many of you made me laugh out loud. You ALL deserve this giveaway and I wish I had one to share with all of you. I might have to just close my eyes and pick one.
Thanks for entering!
And Ginger, to add a button, copy my code (on the right side of the blog, where it says "Put a Non-Toxic Kids button on your blog!" Then select "Add a Gadget" on your blogger blog, and paste the code there. It's that simple! Thanks so much.

I would love this line! I just had 2 kids in 2 years (13 months apart- I am completely INSANE!) and the millions of hormones have been working over time with my skin! It is sad that now that I am a Mom- I now have the crazy unpredictable skin of a 13 year old! Its not enough that I get zero sleep, live in sweats and am getting gray hair, my skin is out of control too! Help me!!! :)

i have been slowly trying to change all my make up and beauty products to safer natural paraben free, hopefully lead free lines. this would be a great opportunity to change out everything at once!
why me? because i am incredibly cheap! i would never buy all this stuff for myself even though i need it desperately. i might go to the store...pick it up...look at it...smell it...even put it in the cart...but by the time i reach the register, it will be back on the shelf. i am a freecycle and thrift store junky...at it's impossible to find beauty products at the thrift store. i like to think i'm being "green" since most of my beauty products are hand-me-overs - things friends didn't like or use. the worst part is that i have pretty sensitive skin that i should be pampering. help me pamper me! : )
I'm in my late 20s, and I still have acne. I've tried a lo of products, but not Kiss My Face. I'm hopeful that the cleanser, exfoliator, and toner would help my problem skin. Plus, I am trying to switch to more natural products.
I don't normally wear lipgloss, but my sisters do, so if I won this they'd get some benefit also!

I added your button to my site. Thanks! Ginger

I can't compete with some of these deserving posters. So here's my post, for what it's worth:
I have been coveting the new KMF anti-ageing line but can't find money in the budget for mama. My rule for the new economic downturn: if it's not for my son or his benefit, I don't get it. And since it's just the two of us, I get to make and enforce the rules! That means that mama now resides firmly at the bottom of the list.
I'd love to win, as I'm sure everyone would. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I've tossed all my old, old Maybelline etc. and am switching to simple pure stuff...I've used Kiss My Face products for years for lip gloss, soaps, etc. and love them. I could use the lift of this gift -- I'm trying to lose 20 lbs. and start feeling good about myself again after devoting all my energy for several years to becoming and being a mom!!
I'd love to win this whole lot! I'll tell you why. I LOVE Kiss My Face. I used to use it all the time but have recently gotten to the point where I've been so overwhelmed by all of the options out there (and lack of good options at the same time) that I have stopped buying beauty products. YIKES! So, do my family a favor and pick me ;) Oh, and I've had 3 kids in 3 years so the least I could do to look good is take care of my skin ;)
Well, first off I have to say that I LOVE to read your blog!
Since I became a Mom, 4 years ago (I now have a 6 month old too), I have truly become much more educated and aware of the types of products that we use.
I am in the process of trying out new and more earth friendly alternatives to what we used to use in our family.
I'd love to win the lip gloss because well...I've decided that I need to start taking care of myself more, as a woman! The revelation came to me when my 4 year old daughter came home from her ballet class with information on where to purchase all of the makeup for her upcoming recital. I thought to myself that if we actually do decide to buy all of the recommended products, we would spend more money on makeup for my daughter's dance recital than I do in a whole year on my face! Pathetic, really.
