I was on a tear about this the other day and was posting like a madwoman all over the place. (Hasn't led to much cleaning, though!) Chemicals etc., just drive me crazy. There are so many substitutes out there, too! There are SO MANY ways to green up our lives. I've gotten scads of useful advice from this great green resource, "Super Natural Home" by Beth Greer. It's clear, it's comprehensive and it's practical -- it's a godsend for all of us who want to make a real impact on the planet by reducing the pollutants and poisons that are all over the place. Give it a look.
