I just read a great new post over at Enviroblog about how to limit your baby's exposures to toxins while in utero, and how to change some of the archaic and confounding laws that let so many toxic chemicals into the market with no testing for safety and long term effects on babies, children and adults.
The post shares some great links and tips such as this one:
"So what's a pregnant woman to do? It's complicated, and we're not doctors. But if you're interested in taking some personal steps toward an environmentally healthy pregnancy, take a look at our Healthy Home Tips for Parents. Our public health researchers created it to be highly effective but very do-able."
I can vouch for that. It's a nice, simple, helpful list. Thanks, Environmental Working Group, for hungry, tired and blissful moms to be everywhere.
