I've long talked about the evils of PVC in children's products. And it is everywhere. Kirstin at Trying to Be Greener was on a quest to find a PVC free rain cover, and it was not easy.
Thankfully for busy parents, she shares on her blog the list of strollers that the rain cover fits, with pictures.
Thanks, Kirstin!

You might want to protect more than your kids from PVC, since they're in everything and everywhere. If you're interested here's an article on PVC and your safety. http://www.newrinkles.com/index.php/archive/pvc-and-your-safety/
puddlegear.com
Puddlegear sells PVC and Phthalate free raingear-
for when the baby gets out of the stroller!
There's also a great list of PVC-free rain gear on the Center for Health, Environment and Justice site (www.chej.org). It's one their PVC-free school supplies list, but also includes rain boots, raincoats, and so on. You can find it here. And if you're looking for PVC-free pads for strollers, check out Naturepedic. They're known for their organic cotton crib mattresses but also make pads for strollers, bassinets and other things.
