I didn't plan on posting tonight, but I saw this post from Jessica Gottlieb on Eco-Childs Play (which I also write for).
She outlines the details of a Mylicon Drops recall. Apparently the bottles may contain metal. What kind? How? I have no idea.
Any mother of a baby with colic is familiar with these drops. We used them in times of desperation with both girls, only to realize that it usually didn't help.
Especially with our youngest, who had colic and cried for hours everyday. This recall is downright scary when parents are just trying to do the right thing for their babies and their own sanity.
For parents of colicky babies. Have faith. It will get better. And spread the word about the recall of these drops!
