Have you heard of Kiwi magazine? If you are a regular reader of this blog, this magazine will be right up your alley. I have not paged through a copy yet, but after perusing their website, I can see they have the same interests at heart.
The magazine is for parents who want to raise their kids in the most natural way possible, with the health of the environment forefront in every decision. According to their website:
"KIWI is dedicated to helping parents raise their children the healthiest way possible. Our charge is to introduce families to the latest in natural and organic living—showing how to practice this lifestyle on an everyday basis.
We know that achieving the right balance between the real world and the ideal world is often difficult. Our lives are busy and our family’s schedules are often simply out of our control. So, our mission is to help you make the best choices, with the best information available, in the shortest amount of time."
I really like that last sentence. Parents don't need to spend gobs of time researching every decision. That is why there is Non-Toxic Kids and magazines like Kiwi, to help make it a little easier.
Kiwi features how to create eco-crafts, recipes featuring local foods, and countless articles about green parenting, health, nutrition, book reviews and social responsibility. All great and very useful stuff!
Do you want a subscription (I do, but unfortunately, this isn't for me!)? I have one to give away to one smart and lovely reader. All you need to do is post a comment here and I will pick randomly one lucky reader. Good luck, and thanks to Kiwi magazine for this giveaway.

I have read Kiwi a couple of times and enjoyed it. It's practical and green.
Man, just give something away, and look at how many people comment! I will randomly pick in the next few days, and send the information to Kiwi. Thanks and good luck!

I love your blog!!! I'm so glad you're putting the time and energy into researching all of these issues - I don't know how you do it! If I get the subscription to Kiwi I will be sure to pass it on to my green girlfriends and to give it lots of extra mileage.
